These Terms and Conditions are intended to regulate and comply with the conditions and procedures for using the services provided by We Want Healthcare (hereinafter referred to as 'the Company') in accordance with the Telecommunications Business Act and its Enforcement Decree.
① The We Want Healthcare(http://www.we-want-healthcare.com/) User Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as "these Terms") are intended to define the rights, duties, and responsibilities of members and We Want Healthcare when using the internet-related services (hereinafter referred to as "the Services") provided by We Want Healthcare.
② By clicking the "Register" button after completing the registration form specified by We Want Healthcare, an applicant is deemed to agree to these Terms. Any matters regarding the rights, duties, and responsibilities of members and We Want Healthcare not specified in these Terms shall be governed by the Telecommunications Business Act and other relevant laws and customs of Korea.
"Member" refers to a person who accesses We Want Healthcare and joins as an online member according to these Terms, receiving the services provided by We Want Healthcare.
① A person wishing to become a member shall apply for membership by filling out the membership information in the registration form provided by We Want Healthcare and clicking the "Register" button.
② We Want Healthcare will register the applicant as a member unless the applicant falls under any of the following conditions:
1. If the applicant has previously lost membership according to Article 6, Paragraph 3 of these Terms. However, this does not apply to those who have been re-admitted to We Want Healthcare after 3 years from the loss of membership.
2. If there is false, missing, or incorrect information in the registration details
3. If We Want Healthcare determines that registering the applicant as a member would significantly hinder its technology
③ The membership contract is considered established when We Want Healthcare's acceptance reaches the applicant.
④ Members must immediately correct any changes in the membership information described in Paragraph 1.
① We Want Healthcare provides the following services to members:
1. We Want Healthcare News Email Service
2. We Want Healthcare Online Counseling/Reservation Services
3. Sections and Content Services for We Want Healthcare Online Members
4. Other services provided in partnership with other companies
② We Want Healthcare may notify members of the changes to the services and the date of provision as specified in Article 7, Paragraph 2, and may change the services provided as described in Paragraph 1.
① We Want Healthcare may temporarily suspend the provision of services due to reasons such as maintenance, replacement, malfunction of information and communication equipment, or disruption of communication. We Want Healthcare may also completely discontinue the current services based on the replacement with new services or other reasons deemed appropriate.
② In case of service suspension as per Paragraph 1, We Want Healthcare will notify members using the method specified in Article 7, Paragraph 2. However, if the suspension is due to reasons beyond the control of We Want Healthcare (such as system administrator's negligence or system downtime) and advance notice is not possible, this does not apply.
① Members may request the cancellation of their membership (withdrawal) at any time, and We Want Healthcare will proceed with the cancellation immediately upon receiving such request.
② If a member falls under any of the following conditions, We Want Healthcare may restrict, suspend, or terminate the member's qualification in an appropriate manner:
1. If the member registered false information during application
2. If the member interferes with other users' use of We Want Healthcare or uses the information for electronic transaction order violations
3. If the member engages in actions prohibited by laws or these Terms, or acts contrary to public morals
③ If We Want Healthcare decides to terminate the membership, it will cancel the member's registration. In such cases, We Want Healthcare will notify the member before the cancellation and provide an opportunity for the member to explain.
① We Want Healthcare may notify a specific member via the email address registered with We Want Healthcare.
② For notifications to an unspecified number of members, We Want Healthcare may post the notification on We Want Healthcare’s bulletin board for more than one week as an alternative to individual notices.
We Want Healthcare will strive to protect members' personal information, including registration details, in accordance with relevant laws. The protection of personal information is governed by the relevant laws and We Want Healthcare’s "Privacy Policy."
① We Want Healthcare will not engage in activities prohibited by laws or contrary to public morals and will strive to provide services continuously and stably according to these Terms.
② We Want Healthcare will establish a security system to protect members' personal information (including credit information) so that they can safely use internet services.
③ We Want Healthcare will not send unsolicited commercial emails to members.
① Except in cases where We Want Healthcare is responsible under relevant laws and "Privacy Policy," each member is responsible for managing their own ID and password.
② Members must not allow third parties to use their ID and password.
③ If a member becomes aware that their ID and password have been stolen or used by a third party, they must immediately notify We Want Healthcare and follow We Want Healthcare’s instructions if provided.
① Members must not engage in the following activities:
1. Registering false information during membership application or changes
2. Altering the information posted on We Want Healthcare
3. Infringing on the personal rights or intellectual property rights of We Want Healthcare or third parties, or interfering with their work
4. Using another member’s ID
5. Sending junk mail, spam mail, chain letters, or any other mail containing obscene or violent messages, images, or audio, or posting information contrary to public morals.
6. Transmitting or posting information prohibited by relevant laws (such as computer programs)
7. Impersonating or pretending to be We Want Healthcare staff or administrators or using someone else's name to post messages or send emails
8. Posting or sending materials containing software viruses or other computer codes, files, or programs designed to disrupt or destroy computer software, hardware, or telecommunications equipment
9. Harassing other members through stalking or other means
10. Collecting, storing, or disclosing other members' personal information without consent
11. Using We Want Healthcare’s services for commercial purposes by posting ads or sending spam
12. Violating the terms and conditions or other regulations related to the use of We Want Healthcare’s services
② If a member engages in activities listed in Paragraph 1, We Want Healthcare may restrict, suspend, or terminate the member’s qualifications as specified in Article 6, Paragraphs 2 and 3.
③ Members are liable to compensate for any damages caused to We Want Healthcare or other members due to their own fault.
We Want Healthcare may delete a member's public posts without prior notice and restrict, suspend, or terminate the member’s qualifications if the content of the posts falls under any of the following:
1. Content that defames or slanders other members or third parties
2. Information, text, or images that violate public morals
3. Content related to criminal activities
4. Content that infringes on the copyrights or other rights of other members or third parties
5. Content with a clear advertising or commercial intent
6. Content that is judged to violate relevant laws
① Copyrights and other intellectual property rights for materials created by We Want Healthcare belong to We Want Healthcare.
② Members must not use the information obtained through We Want Healthcare for commercial purposes or allow third parties to use it, without prior consent from We Want Healthcare.
① The content of counseling provided through the services may be used for the following purposes after removing personal information:
1) Academic activities
2) Medical activities
3) Medical services
4) Publishing materials such as printouts, CD-ROMs, etc.
5) FAQ, recommended counseling, and other service content
② The following counseling requests may not be fully or partially provided:
1) Repeated requests for the same counseling
2) Requests using inappropriate expressions or inappropriate language
3) Requests for diagnostic names
4) Requests for information on treatment costs, test fees, drug prices, or drug effects
5) Requests for information aimed at harming others
① We Want Healthcare may amend these Terms within the scope that does not violate laws such as the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions, the Framework Act on Electronic Commerce, the Electronic Signature Act, and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection.
② When We Want Healthcare amends these Terms, it will specify the application date and reasons for the amendment and notify members by posting on the initial screen for 7 days prior to the application date.
③ The amended Terms will apply to members who joined before the amendment if the revised Terms do not violate relevant laws.
④ Members who disagree with the amended Terms may withdraw according to Article 6, Paragraph 1.
Any lawsuits arising from disputes related to the use of services between We Want Healthcare and members shall be filed in the court with jurisdiction according to the Civil Procedure Act of Korea.
These Terms are effective from June 27, 2017, and will be used until a new version is issued.
