All patients possess inherent dignity and value as human beings and have the following rights, along with corresponding responsibilities and obligations, to maintain a healthy life.

Patient Rights

① Patients have the right to have their dignity and personal identity respected based on their inherent human worth.
② Patients have the right to receive equal medical services without discrimination based on nationality, gender, age, religion, socioeconomic status, or type of illness.
③ Patients have the right to choose their healthcare provider and medical institution for optimal care.
④ Patients have the right to receive medical services from qualified healthcare professionals.
⑤ Patients and their guardians have the right to request information and records related to the patient's medical history.
⑥ Patients and their guardians have the right to be informed about the purpose, method, content, and results of treatments and to choose or refuse treatment options.
⑦ Patients and their guardians have the right to receive explanations about documents related to medical procedures before signing them.
⑧ Patients and their guardians have the right to be informed about the costs associated with medical treatments.
⑨ Patients have the right to have all information and personal privacy related to their illness and treatment protected from breaches.
⑩ Patients and their guardians have the right to express dissatisfaction with any aspect of the medical services provided in the hospital and receive responses to their concerns.

Patient Responsibilities

① Patients are responsible for providing their current symptoms, past medical history, medication details, and other relevant information directly or through a legal representative to the healthcare staff.
② Patients are responsible for seeking clarification on any uncertainties related to their treatment.
③ Patients are responsible for participating in and cooperating with the treatment plans recommended by their healthcare providers.
④ Patients are responsible for the outcomes resulting from non-compliance with the treatment plan.
⑤ Patients are responsible for respecting other patients and medical staff and valuing the hospital's assets.
⑥ Patients are responsible for fulfilling their financial obligations related to their treatment.
⑦ Patients are responsible for adhering to the hospital's rules and regulations.
